Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to join our team in Lebanon, New Hampshire. As part of a healthcare-focused environment, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL-based solutions that support clinical, financial, and operational reporting needs. This is a Long-term Contract position offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the healthcare industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create, refine, and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, functions, and database routines to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Develop and manage paginated reports, subscriptions, and shared datasets using Microsoft SSRS to ensure reliability and accuracy
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, map data models, and validate report outputs
  • Extract and integrate SQL data into data warehouses and downstream systems for seamless operations
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform performance tuning to optimize database efficiency
  • Build and support ad-hoc queries and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient access, utilization, and readmissions
  • Adhere to organizational data governance standards and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Maintain comprehensive and clear technical documentation for all development processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an SQL or BI Developer, preferably within the healthcare sector
  • Advanced expertise in SQL, including query optimization, complex joins, window functions, and error handling
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SSRS, including shared datasets, subscriptions, and drill-through functionality
  • Experience working with healthcare-related data systems such as EHRs and handling data extraction processes
  • Solid understanding of relational database modeling, SQL concepts, and data warehousing fundamentals
  • Skilled in ETL processes and ensuring strict adherence to data security and governance best practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively convey technical information
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently
