Job Description

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented SQL Database Administrators (DBAs) to join our network for upcoming opportunities with enterprise-level environments. Job Responsibility

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise SQL database environments
  • Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization
  • Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes
  • Support high-availability environments and ensure database reliability and uptime
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and application support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Implement database security, permissions, patching, and maintenance best practices
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, jobs, and monitoring processes
  • Participate in database migrations, upgrades, and system enhancements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server or other enterprise database platforms
  • Strong experience with T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and query optimization
  • Experience with backup/recovery strategies, replication, clustering, and Always On Availability Groups
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Strong understanding of database security and performance tuning best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot production database issues in high-volume environments
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure SQL Database, Amazon Web Services AWS, or hybrid cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools such as SolarWinds, Redgate SQL Monitor, and ServiceNow
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, database migrations, and data integration workflows
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute within enterprise database environments
