Job Description:

SQL Data Engineer role at Citi focusing on building the future of banking technology. The position involves working with data engineering technologies and applications development to create innovations used across the globe.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues
Conduct testing and debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

Requirements:

2-4 years of relevant experience into Data Engineering & SQL
Familiarity with Big Data, Spark, Scala, Python, Pyspark
Open to learn new technologies quickly
Relevant experience in Advance SQL, Triggers, Functions, Joins & Data Warehousing Concepts

Nice to have:

Professional SQL Certification is good to have
Banking domain experience is good to have
