Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on SQL Data Engineer (Contractor) with deep expertise in Snowflake, advanced SQL engineering, and analytics-ready data modeling. This role is centered on building high-quality, production-grade data models that support finance, operations, and enterprise analytics use cases.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing
  • 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake delivery experience
  • Advanced SQL engineering expertise with large-scale transformations
  • Strong background in dimensional and analytics-focused data modeling
  • Proven experience with Snowflake performance tuning and cost optimization
  • Experience integrating enterprise application data into analytics platforms
  • Experience implementing CI/CD for database or data platform development
  • Strong experience working with batch ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Solid understanding of financial and operational reporting data structures
  • Object-oriented scripting experience, Python preferred

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with governance, lineage, auditing, and monitoring frameworks
  • Exposure to AWS and/or Azure data services
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion application data, including Financials, SCM, or ERP modules
  • Experience supporting semantic models for analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
