SQL Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

• Perform data lineage analysis, mapping data flow between systems (source to target)
• identify and document physical and logical data elements, including Critical Data Elements (CDEs) per regulatory or business criteria
• analyze existing data models, source systems, and integration layers to extract metadata
• actively contribute to data governance initiatives

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development role
• 4+ years with the following: PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, Core Java
• 4+ years experience and proficient in Java, SQL, data profiling, and data mapping tools
• 3+ years experience and understanding of logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and metadata management
• experience working on projects involving data transformation, system integration, or data warehousing
• excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• business knowledge of Financial Markets, Trading, Middle Office and Back Office function
• knowledge of GitHub/Version Control Systems, Kafka
• consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• experience in the Financial Service industry is preferred
