The (SPTN) Supervised Parenting Time Niagara Facilitator provides parents with an opportunity to maintain or re-establish a relationship with their child (children). The Facilitator would be in charge of day’s operations including working with and providing support to the clients, observer and volunteers. Case management and working with the clients to assist them with adhering to the “Service Agreement”. Review all observation notes taken by the observer / volunteers and ensure they meet the note taking standards. Maintain and update client files. Work collaboratively with the other SPTN site staff to provide support to all SPTN clients. As needed, supervise parenting time appointments.

Requirements:
Social Service Worker or Child and Youth Care Worker Certificate or University degree in Human or Social Services
Thorough demonstrated previous education and / or experience the ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment dealing with high conflict families and separation/divorce issues
Excellent observation, written and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced work environment
Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months) required prior to hire
Nice to have:
Bilingual in English / French is an asset
Experience working with the Indigenous population is an asset
Preference may be given to candidates with CPR, First Aid and NVCI
