To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability

Requirements:

  • Graduate Degree, preferably B.E/ B.Tech with at least 5+ years of experience
  • Hands on Java Backend developer (Server side – Java, Spring, SpringBoot)
  • Must have strong skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts, Java, Relational Databases
  • Must Have Tech skills: Core Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Unix, Solace, Database
  • Additional Preferred Exposure: Python, AWS
  • Significant experience developing high-performance software, with direct management of teams
  • Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members
  • Ability to understand & implement high-level technical design of design components
  • Analytical ability including root cause identification and pro-active design improvement
  • Experience developing complex technical solutions across multiple technology stacks, with an expertise in application architecture, software products and services
  • Support production deployments on need basis

Nice to have:

  • Skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery and System integration
  • Good to have knowledge on Python, JavaScript
  • Nice to Have: Experience in GitLab, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
  • Background in financial markets
