Job Description

Tax Division Internship at Walz Group, a CPA firm in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Part-time internship (25-30 hours per week for 10-12 weeks) during spring 2027. Work closely with professionals and partners as an active member of the Tax Division team on tax returns. Viewed as a precursor to full-time employment upon graduation.

Job Responsibility

  • Work on several types of tax returns including individual, corporate, and partnership returns
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills acquired in class

Requirements

  • Expected BS in Accounting in spring of 2027, 2028, or 2029 - with all hours acquired (120 hours) to sit for the CPA exam and obtain licensure
  • Prefer students who have already taken income tax courses, however this is not a requirement
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple assignments
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team of professionals at all levels
  • Enthusiastic and energetic, with a strong desire for a long career in public accounting

Prefer students who have already taken income tax courses
