Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible for our more than 100,000 customers
  • Paint vehicles
  • Prepare vehicles including buffing, polishing and priming surfaces before spray painting
  • Work within a team of painters, panel beaters and MET fitters reporting to workshop controller
  • Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety as well as in line with Audatex estimates, observing DLGAS ways of working and BS10125 procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience, skills and knowledge
  • Experience of painting small and large jobs on a wide variety of vehicles
  • Confidence in all aspects of preparing vehicles including buffing, polishing and priming surfaces before spray painting
  • Ability to work to meet customer's needs
  • Enthusiastic, upbeat and committed to delivering the best repair service

  • Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
  • Paints surfaces, using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers.
  • Simulates wood grain, marble, brick, or tile effects.
  • Applies paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects.
  • Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
