Job Description

Are you an experienced Bead Blaster or Spray Painter ready to hit the ground running? For an innovative company in the Merkem region, we are looking for a skilled professional who knows how to get the job done. This is a temporary assignment for a minimum of 3 weeks (with a high possibility of extension) due to a significant surge in demand. You will join a dynamic production environment where quality and efficiency are top priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing various components using bead blasting techniques.
  • Expertly applying coatings or paint using a spray gun (pistol painting).
  • Conducting quality checks on the finished products.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements

  • Experience: You have at least 6 months of proven experience as a bead blaster or spray painter. Due to the current workload, there is no time for on-the-job training
  • you must be able to work independently from day one.
  • Language Skills: You are fluent in either English or Dutch.
  • Location: Ideally, you live within a maximum radius of 20 km around Merkem to ensure a smooth commute.
  • Availability: You are available on short notice for a temporary assignment.

  • Smooths surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool, and removes old paint from surfaces, using paint remover, scraper, or wire brush to prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
  • Paints surfaces, using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers.
  • Simulates wood grain, marble, brick, or tile effects.
  • Applies paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects.
  • Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
  • Following safeguards, rules and regulations
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
