Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with assigned enterprise and mid‑market customers while delivering a seamless end‑to‑end sales experience. This role focuses on account management, opportunity development, coordination of orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong internal collaboration. You will support contracted and non‑contracted clients, manage quote and order activity, and contribute to the achievement of team sales and profitability goals. Work location in office minimum of two days per week.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building trusted relationships through responsive, solutions‑oriented service
  • Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through quoting, ordering, and delivery in partnership with internal sales and operations teams
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to support key enterprise accounts, forecast sales activity, and execute account plans
  • Coordinate and review customer quote requests to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment to margin expectations
  • Partner with internal teams (sales support, program management, special orders) to ensure timely execution and delivery against customer commitments
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer programs, contracts, and business goals to identify growth opportunities
  • Proactively engage existing and past customers to introduce new products, programs, and merchandising solutions
  • Monitor account performance and profitability, sharing insights internally and with customers as appropriate
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally
  • Stay current on product trends, decoration methods, and industry best practices to deliver creative merchandise solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer‑facing roles
  • Post‑secondary education in business, sales, or a related field (preferred)
  • Industry experience in promotional products or branded merchandise (preferred)
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally in a collaborative, team‑based environment
  • Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to recommend merchandise solutions aligned to customer brand needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Post‑secondary education in business, sales, or a related field
