This exciting role is based at our TUI BLUE Grupotel Turquesa Mar in Menorca. Ready for your next adventure?

Job Responsibility:

  • Focus on planning and delivering safe family programmes, as well as a wide range of sport sessions, daytime activities to our guests of all ages and nationalities
  • Plan and deliver various sports and activities adapting to different abilities and ages, following all guidelines provided
  • Follow our high standards of childcare whilst hosting teens and junior type of activities and events to cater the high season programmes
  • Take part in events such as team days and entertainment events as part of a “one team” ethos to deliver the best possible holiday experience especially for our young guests
  • Actively promoting and selling your activities and sessions to encourage maximum attendance

Requirements:

  • Hold a coaching award, sports certification, activity leadership qualification, or have at least two years’ experience working with children in a sports environment
  • Genuine passion for caring for and coaching children in sports
  • Confident in the water and either already hold, or are willing to obtain, a pool safety certification
  • Confident communicating in English with international colleagues and guests of all ages
  • Consistently positive team player, ready to learn and adapt to the demands of the role, including working in direct sun and heat

Nice to have:

  • Ideally another European language
  • Additional languages are a plus but not essential

  • Build a robust pipeline by prospecting athletic departments, sports governing bodies, tournament directors, and travel procurement contacts at schools and universities
  • Identify and pursue relationships with sports event operators, tournament hosts, and multi-sport complexes in the greater Orlando area
  • Stay current on the regional sports tournament calendar to proactively target incoming teams and events
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through contract execution, rooming list coordination, and post-stay follow-up
  • Develop customized group packages that leverage the resort's private villa inventory to meet the specific needs of athletic teams (e.g., multi-bedroom configurations for team cohesion, athlete recovery amenities, coach/staff accommodations)
  • Negotiate group rates, attrition terms, and added-value inclusions that remain competitive while protecting resort revenue
  • Partner with Revenue Management to optimize villa inventory and pricing across peak tournament seasons
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for athletic departments, team travel coordinators, and group accounts
  • Cultivate partnerships with local and regional sports venues, sports tourism organizations (e.g., Sports ETA members, Visit Orlando), and tournament management companies
