Job Description:

The Sports Facility Consultant (Analyst), with guidance from project managers and senior executives, will be responsible for researching, writing and presenting feasibility studies for clients who are evaluating the possibility of developing, sports, entertainment or attraction facilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce well-organized and comprehensive client-ready reports
  • Analyze data from a number of sources and derive commercial insight for clients
  • Build financial models and assess project KPIs
  • Deliver superior client service and meet client needs, commitments and deadlines
  • Proposal and presentation development
  • Analyze local market characteristics, economic trends and demographic information
  • Research sports and entertainment industry trends
  • Interview facility managers to assess performance of their facilities and garner best practice insights
  • Design and implement surveys targeted at event organizers, show promoters, and venue managers to evaluate demand potential for proposed or expanding facilities
  • Develop comprehensive comparative analyses between proposed facilities and existing facilities that feature similar building and market characteristics
  • Meet on-site with clients
  • Work with senior staff to develop facility recommendations for organizations wishing to expand existing or build new facilities
  • Work with senior staff to develop demand projections and financial forecasts for such facilities
  • Maintain and enhance database and industry contacts

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (Finance, Accounting or Analytics preferable)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on managing and meeting deadlines
  • Highly proficient in storytelling with data, writing presentations and reports, telephone and internet research skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, communicate workload with supervision and understand when to escalate potential issues
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Willingness to travel
