As a Sports Data Coordinator based in the River North area of Chicago, you'll play a key role in live college sports coverage. For the football season, you’ll monitor real-time data from FBS and FCS College Football games and for the basketball season, you'll monitor real-time data for Division 1 Basketball games ensuring accuracy by comparing data collected by our in-venue Data Collectors with live broadcasts and official box scores. This is a part-time, fast-paced role that’s perfect for sports enthusiasts who thrive under pressure and want a front-row seat to the action — all while gaining hands-on experience in the sports data and analytics field.
Job Responsibility
Monitor and validate real-time data coming in from college football games
Use our proprietary web tools to review and edit game lineups, scores, player stats, and event details before, during, and after games
Report live stats as needed
Communicate and escalate issues quickly and professionally
Requirements
Need to be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Bring a strong focus on precision, speed, and data integrity to every shift
Stay sharp with a working knowledge of NCAA rules, teams, and players
Must pass a background check

Familiarity with college sports stats, rules and tracking tools
An understanding of best practices for live data collection and attention to detail
Comfort using Office 365 applications and VoIP communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Slack)
