Job Description

NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We are looking for sports coaches in Bathurst Area to join our team, we're looking for coaches for Soccer, Netball, Athletics, Fitness, Touch and other sports.

Job Responsibility

  • Sports Coaching
  • Attend and conduct all training sessions
  • Attend and facilitate all competition games (As Required)
  • Being Reliable and Organised

Requirements

  • Sports coaching / playing experience
  • PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
  • Child Protection Training (Preferred)
  • First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)

Nice to have

  • Child Protection Training
  • First Aid + CPR Training
  • Coaching experience

  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate sports sessions to Secondary school pupils
  • Plan and organise sports activities, drills, and games to enhance pupils’ physical abilities and skills
  • Teach fundamental sports techniques, rules, and strategies to pupils
  • Collaborate with school staff to coordinate sports events and competitions
  • Motivating, engaging and encouraging the pupil(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to pupils’ needs
  • Promoting the acceptance and inclusion of the pupil with SEN and encouraging pupils to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner
  • Provide opportunities to progress academically, social and emotionally
  • Develop self-confidence, positive self-image and independence
  • Knowing and applying school policies on Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, Equal Opportunities etc
  • Complying with legal and organisational requirements for maintaining the health, safety and security of yourself and others in the learning environment
