Job Description:

The Sports Centre is based within the facilities department at Preston College. Sports Centre staff undertake a wide range of tasks and enrichment activities to support our learners and staff to enhance their overall College experience and promote physical and mental wellbeing. We are also proud to offer our facilities to members of the local community to hire each evening and on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Our staff play a key role in the smooth operation of the Sports Centre facilities to ensure all of our users receive excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake a wide range of tasks and enrichment activities to support learners and staff
  • promote physical and mental wellbeing
  • support the smooth operation of Sports Centre facilities

Requirements:

  • Professional, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • experience in a similar setting is highly desirable but not essential
  • must be able to work a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
