Job Description

The Associate Partnerships and Project Management Manager, APAC, will drive regional growth and strengthen Valvoline Global’s presence across Asia-Pacific by managing strategic partnerships, brand activations, and cross-functional projects that support business priorities. This role will oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of strategic partnership programs specific to APAC while ensuring the seamless management of regional marketing and business projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Partnership Strategy and Execution: Manage all regional partnership and sponsorship activities to support Valvoline’s brand and business goals across APAC
  • Project Management Leadership: Oversee regional strategic projects from initiation through completion
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, digital, operations, and finance teams to align partnership and project strategies with broader business priorities
  • Agency and Vendor Management: Lead relationships with external agencies, vendors, and event partners
  • Measurement, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Develop reporting frameworks to measure partnership and project impact
  • Budget and Contract Oversight: Manage partnership and project budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and adherence to financial controls

Requirements

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in partnerships, marketing, or project management roles
  • Experienced in regional / global roles, working across multiple time zones and diverse cultures
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and strategic partnerships across multiple markets
  • Experience with sports sponsorship or sports marketing
  • Experience with contract negotiation, budget management, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification a plus
  • Cross-cultural experience across APAC strongly preferred
