Job Description

Working directly with the Sales Teams, the Sponsorship Specialist is responsible for maintaining digital, print, and sponsorship product inventory, researching new sponsorship opportunities, and working with internal departments as well as external vendors to deliver products. The Sponsorship Specialist is also heavily involved with the sponsorship fulfillment team, ensuring proper execution of each sponsorship sold pre-show and onsite.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing new product offerings for assigned brands with a primary focus on digital innovation and activations
  • Reviewing and improving existing product offerings
  • Creating a highly collaborative environment with best practice sharing across events teams
  • Evaluating current market and assigned industry sector conditions to develop relevant revenue generating sponsorship opportunities
  • Identifying future market opportunities and defining product vision/strategy
  • Understanding customer needs and researching product requirements
  • Engaging closely with the Sales and Fulfillment teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
  • The ideal candidate will be well versed in the digital world and have experience in the creation and implementation of a wide range of products and services that are applicable across the Event Management space
  • Generating reports and providing updates to Senior Leadership as needed

Requirements

  • Have a college degree in business/marketing or related area, or equivalent business experience
  • Have 2-3 years of related business experience
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Have high level of computer systems comprehension, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exhibit excellent creativity skills while assisting in the development of new sponsorship products
  • Be able to travel approximately 25%

  • Sales Force experience a plus
  • Prior experience with experiential marketing preferred
