We’re looking for a high-performing Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our Events Sales team at TM Forum on a 6-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages to both existing TM Forum member organizations and new prospects. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, driving new business, and contributing to the continued success of our global events portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a well-established role with the chance to make a real impact from day one.
Job Responsibility:
Sell sponsorship and exhibition packages across TM Forum’s global events
Build strong relationships with existing member accounts and support their ongoing success
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach to non-member vendors
Conduct market and industry research to align sales strategy with client needs and trends
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to wider team objectives
Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to deliver strong value propositions
Represent TM Forum at events (virtual and in-person) as needed
Manage client accounts onsite and lead rebooking efforts
Understand and communicate how TM Forum’s event products align with industry priorities and client goals
Tailor presentations and proposals to reflect client needs and strategic opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in event sponsorship sales
Proven success in both account management and new business generation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation, pitching, and closing skills
Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
Familiarity with Salesforce and CLM systems is an advantage
A passion for delivering excellent client service
Telecoms or tech industry knowledge is a plus but not essential
