Are you passionate about supporting students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs)? This is a potential opportunity to make a significant difference. Randstad is actively seeking dedicated SPLD Tutors to join our team. This role provides individualised academic support, developing personalised learning plans, and guiding students towards success.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly
  • Collaborate effectively with Randstad to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
  • Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance the learning experience
  • Create engaging and personalised learning materials

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with students with SPLD's
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies
  • Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Experience with creating personalised learning materials
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student success
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A passion for helping students achieve their academic goals
  • Must possess any one of the memberships from the following: PATOSS (Full - Specialist teacher/assessor qualified or Associate membership - Specialist teacher qualified)
  • British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA or AMBDA FE/HE or Professional Membership)
  • The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (Professional QA Tutor membership)
  • Dyslexia Guild (Associate of The Dyslexia Guild, Associate FE/HE of The Dyslexia Guild, Member of The Dyslexia Guild, Fellow of The Dyslexia Guild)
