Job Description:

Montefiore is seeking to appoint an additional Spiritual and Cultural Coordinator to join their creative and energetic close-knit team. This is a permanent full-time or part-time (four days per week) position. Some afterhours work will be required during the Jewish festivals. Reporting to the Spiritual & Cultural Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating all aspects of the Spiritual and Cultural department
  • Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective running of events and activities
  • Coordinating, managing and implementing all aspects of Shabbat and Jewish Festivals, including supporting the intergenerational programs

Requirements:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Is efficient, takes initiative, and is a self-starter
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Ideally has experience in event coordination
  • Genuine desire to work with older members of our community
  • Compassionate
