Job Responsibility
Schedule Planning: Develop schedules based on procurement flow time and supplier lead-times
Technical liaison for suppliers and supply chain team
Supplier & Rate Readiness Assessments: Capability and capacity analysis and recommendations
Progress Tracking: Monitor schedule progress and forecast, and report risks
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate schedule updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve schedule issues by working with sourcing agents, buyers, functions, and program focal
Procurement Planning: Initiate procurement sourcing package by combining the approved sourcing strategy, approved delivery plan, engineering data package, and assigning a unique package number
Documentation: Maintain schedule reports and communications
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate schedule risks
Requirements
3-5 years of related experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry
High School Diploma or GED
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability manage and influence without authority
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Project
Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations
Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or other relevant course of study
Active DoD Security Clearance
Excellent Data analysis skills
Knowledge/experience with/in manufacturing and manufacturing process
Knowledge of MRP Systems and SAP
Ability to effect change
Driven to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
