Requirements

Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC and RCSLT registration
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in professional development or training
Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication interventions, with an ability to translate clinical expertise into engaging learning materials
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training online and in person
Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and clinical teams
Confidence in using digital platforms and online learning tools
Strong understanding of neuroaffirming practice and a commitment to embedding this approach in content and training
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload across multiple projects

Job Responsibility

Assist in designing and developing engaging, evidence based online learning materials, including video content, case studies, and interactive resources
Facilitate live online and face-to-face training sessions, supporting professionals in enhancing their skills in speech, language, and communication interventions
Work alongside the Sales/Marketing Manager, Clinical Leads, and the wider team to align course offerings with market needs and ensure a seamless learning experience
Provide expert advice and support to professionals accessing Chatterbug Academy, responding to queries, and facilitating discussions where needed
Contribute to the ongoing review and refinement of training materials based on participant feedback, ensuring content remains up to date and impactful
Support promotional efforts by contributing to social media, webinars, and events showcasing Chatterbug Academys offerings
Work with the Sales Team to demonstrate the value of Chatterbug Academys courses, supporting schools and organisations in choosing the right training packages
Create, review, and enhance learning materials to ensure they are neuroaffirming and inclusive, incorporating up-to-date research and best practices in neurodiversity
Work closely with the marketing team to proofread and refine course materials, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging
Provide clinical expertise and insights to support the Sales Manager in positioning Chatterbug Academys offerings effectively for schools, organisations, and professionals

A minimum of 3 years full time post-qualification experience, preferably working with children and young adults with disabilities
FEDS (Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing), certification or significant experience with FEDS -related cases

Job Responsibility

Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex disabilities focusing on enhancing their communication and functional abilities and participation in daily activities
Working with Person In Charge and frontline staff to develop accessible materials for information and social stories purposes
Demonstrates exemplary clinical skills in SLT assessment intervention and diagnostics to meet the specific needs of children and young people with a range of disabilities including physical, sensory, autism, etc
Provide a speech and language therapy service to include communication assessment, diagnostics and intervention, and ongoing service delivery to children and adults with a range of disabilities
Develop individualised treatment support plans based on evidence-based practices
For referred individuals evaluate swallowing function, provide strategies for safe and effective eating and drinking, lead onward specialist referrals in FEDS area and other medical conditions affecting swallowing
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team other MDT members in an interdisciplinary model and support the Regional Directors to provide holistic care
Engage with families and care giving staff to provide education and support regarding their child’s supported individual communication needs
Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects
Provide education, training, and support to team members providing care to empower them to facilitate the development of the people we support
