This position is responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population, from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication and swallowing.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluates and treats patients with communication and swallowing disorders/delays
Establishes appropriate treatment plan with age-appropriate goals and target timeframes
Maintains appropriate documentation per the Policies & Procedures Manual
Builds and maintains rapport within the department, hospital, and community
Evaluates recommended needs for equipment and supplies
Assists in the monitoring of speech pathology students
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested
Requirements:
Masters Degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university
AZ Department of Health Services license (must be obtained prior to start date)
AZ Department of public safety fingerprint clearance card (must be obtained prior to start date)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ASHA certification or in clinical fellowship year (CFY)
