Job Description

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire a Speech and Language Therapist based in Sligo for temporary work. Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled temporary Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a patient-centered approach to care. Job Responsibility

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults
  • Treatment and Therapy: Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and provide ongoing support throughout the therapy process

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • CORU Registration
  • Dysphasia Training
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experienced preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
