We are seeking passionate, collaborative, and student-centered Teachers across multiple content areas to join our expanding team. Teachers at NOA deliver individualized, standards-based instruction while actively supporting students' social-emotional and behavioral growth. They play a central role in maintaining IEP compliance, engaging students through experiential learning, and building a safe, structured classroom environment.
Job Responsibility
Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons using the Gradual Release of Responsibility model
Assess and track academic progress regularly
provide timely, actionable feedback
Support IEP development, documentation, and compliance in partnership with the Special Education Team
Integrate therapeutic and academic strategies to meet each student's unique needs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
Active Pennsylvania Teacher Certification in Content Area of Need (or willingness to pursue if eligible)
Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs (1+ year preferred)
Familiarity with special education laws and IEP processes
Strong communication, organization, and reflective practice skills
