Job Description

We are seeking passionate, collaborative, and student-centered Teachers across multiple content areas to join our expanding team. Teachers at NOA deliver individualized, standards-based instruction while actively supporting students' social-emotional and behavioral growth. They play a central role in maintaining IEP compliance, engaging students through experiential learning, and building a safe, structured classroom environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons using the Gradual Release of Responsibility model
  • Assess and track academic progress regularly
  • provide timely, actionable feedback
  • Support IEP development, documentation, and compliance in partnership with the Special Education Team
  • Integrate therapeutic and academic strategies to meet each student's unique needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
  • Active Pennsylvania Teacher Certification in Content Area of Need (or willingness to pursue if eligible)
  • Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs (1+ year preferred)
  • Familiarity with special education laws and IEP processes
  • Strong communication, organization, and reflective practice skills
