As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life.
Job Responsibility
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans
Contribute clinical expertise to develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols
Actively shape departmental and organizational goals
Perform evaluation/assessment using critical judgement and clinical decision making
Accurately document and interpret findings from evaluation/assessment
Utilize information about patients pre admit/pre occurrence status to establish goals and develop treatment plans
Develop speech/language therapy treatment plan to support the patient’s goals and is reasonable given the identified problems or deficits
Obtain or verify all physician orders for procedures/therapies
Delegate tasks based on patient load, staffing, patient acuity and departmental needs
Requirements
Nine-month internship with a certificate of clinical competency/completion and Must have two years experience and demonstrated leadership to act as area supervisor or weekend supervisor., upon hire
Speech Language Pathologist: AR, upon hire
Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
