Exciting opportunity for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Los Angeles, CA for the 25/26 school year, blending in-person care with innovative tech-enabled services for school-aged children. Job Responsibility:
Provide direct speech language pathology services in a K-12 setting
Collaborate with educators and mentors
Document evaluations and therapy notes
Participate in IEP meetings
Huddle up with school instructors and experienced clinical mentors to deliver outstanding Speech Language Pathology services to children in need
Develop your skills, career, and expertise with a supportive team-based environment
Provide face-to-face therapeutic services to a diverse population of school aged children
Requirements:
Active SLP license in California
CCCs from ASHA
Experience in school or pediatric settings
Proficiency with technology
Minimum 37.5 hours/week commitment
Reliable transportation
Access to a laptop (not a Chromebook)
Full-time resident of the United States
Experience conducting therapy in a school setting or with the pediatric population
Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
Participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
