Job Description:

Join Huddle Up as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in San Diego, CA, providing innovative speech therapy services in a school-based setting for the upcoming school year. Job Responsibility:

Deliver face-to-face speech-language therapy services
Collaborate with school staff and mentors
Participate in IEP meetings and documentation
Huddle up with school instructors and experienced clinical mentors to deliver outstanding Speech Language Pathology services to children in need
Provide face-to-face therapeutic services to a diverse population of school aged children

Requirements:

Hold an active, unrestricted, and valid SLP license in California, in good standing
Hold CCCs: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency
Full-time resident of the United States
Due to the nature of this role, consistent and reliable transportation is essential to ensure punctual and dependable attendance
Experience conducting therapy in a school setting, or with the pediatric population
Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
Participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
Access to a laptop (not a Chromebook)
Able to commit to 37.5 hours per week
