Speech Language Pathologist

• Administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician
• Evaluates plans directs and treats all patients referred to speech/language according to the practice and standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association & California Board of Speech Pathology
• Provides pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury
• Provide effective efficient and quality care
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor Manager and or Director

• Comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities
• Seek guidance when in doubt
• Promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Standards of Conduct policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations
• Assist personnel in investigating all allegations of violation when requested
• Assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program when called upon

• Current California Speech/Language Pathologist license
• One year of experience as a speech therapist
• Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation
• Knowledge of principles concepts diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy
• Working knowledge of Google Workplace
• Current BLS certification required (must be certified through an American Heart Association provider)
