At Ambitious College, we are committed to supporting autistic young people and learners with additional needs to thrive, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team. Working within a trans-disciplinary model, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learners to access and progress through their personalised study programmes. You will contribute to assessment, planning, monitoring, and reporting processes, ensuring that speech, language and communication needs are effectively identified and supported across the college environment. The role will involve delivering high-quality speech and language therapy interventions for pupils and students through both individual and group programmes. You will assess learner needs within your scope of practice, contribute to setting meaningful and achievable targets, and work collaboratively with education and therapy colleagues to embed communication strategies throughout daily learning experiences. You will also be responsible for writing speech and language therapy programmes and supporting staff to deliver these interventions with fidelity and consistency. Alongside direct therapeutic work, you will help review, refine and develop the universal speech and language therapy offer within the setting, ensuring best practice and positive outcomes for all learners.
