Job Description

Affinity Partnerships are currently working in partnership with specialist schools to recruit a Speech & Language Therapist to support children and young people with Autism, Speech, Language & Communication Needs, and complex learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, where therapy is fully embedded into the curriculum and leadership teams include experienced therapists.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver tailored speech & language therapy interventions
  • Support communication through AAC and total communication approaches
  • Work closely with teaching staff and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and reports
  • Support students’ communication, independence, and wellbeing

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience with autism and/or complex learning needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
