Job Description:

Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London Role Type: Permanent (Term-time only) Salary: up to £44,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a service in West London working with a paediatric caseload of children and young people aged 3–19 with moderate to complex autism. Details The role involves working within a specialist educational setting, supporting children and young people with autism spectrum conditions. You will provide specialist assessment and intervention to support communication, social interaction, and access to learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with autism
  • Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide strategies to support communication and social interaction
  • Contribute to EHCPs and education-based outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working within paediatric speech and language therapy, ideally with autism
  • Knowledge of communication needs and autism spectrum conditions
  • Ability to work independently within educational settings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
