Baptist Medical Center is seeking to add a SPECT Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department in Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Performs high-quality diagnostic procedures
Protects patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure
Performs high-quality (CT) (NM) (PET) procedures
Promotes goodwill amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients

Requirements:

Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist - ARRT
Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine - ARRT
Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography - ARRT
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
Driver's License - DMV
Registered CT Technologist (up to one year to attain CT registry from date of hire)
Knowledge of (and adherence to) State of Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials
Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy
