As Adisseo's Ruminant Specialty Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing technical expertise to customers, prospects, and key influencers by promoting Adisseo's full product and service range value and demonstrating profound knowledge. Responsible for South India.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop strategic sales plans aligning with company objectives and identify growth opportunities in ruminant feed additives
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with farms, feed mills, key accounts, distributors, and industry stakeholders to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging segments within the ruminant industry
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s ruminant products and services, along with any industry regulations and best practices
  • Ensure successful launch of new products and elaborate business development roadmap
  • Support, convince, advise and train main distributors and customers on product range
  • Organize events and technical demonstrations for customers and distributors
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical managers, regional category managers, to ensure alignment between technical support and product development initiatives
  • Understand the key customers’ decision-making process, identifying industry trends and lead expansion and growth in commercial activity in India
  • Highly skilled at understanding the customer critical issues to deliver optimal solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to align technical support efforts with sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and product launches
  • Contribute on the Marketing Intelligence of the Performance Products: Identify trends, opportunities, and threats in feed additives market

Requirements:

  • A graduate, ideally with some post-graduate qualifications, in agriculture, animal nutrition and/or veterinary activities
  • Minimum 3-5 years successful experience with broad network in Poultry Industry, animal nutrition and/or health products/services
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or product management within the ruminant feed additives industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and driving business growth
  • In-depth knowledge of ruminant nutrition, digestive physiology, feed formulation, nutritional requirements, market trends, and industry regulations
  • Sales hunter, team-player, outgoing, highly adaptable, and autonomous with solid drive and focus
  • Analytical and sharp, ready for challenges and results driven
  • Expertise in utilizing sales analytics tools and CRM software and generating reports
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
  • A willingness to travel to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support business activities
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential
