As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You'll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you'll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams. The Sales Executive drives sales of Baxter capital equipment in US hospitals within assigned territory. Products can include patient beds, stretchers, surfaces and service solutions. This role collaborates and partners with local sales teams and leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for clients within assigned territories. The Sales Executive provides expert knowledge and insights to support the successful purchase and implementation of Baxter's solutions.
Job Responsibility
Generate new sales opportunities and nurture relationships within assigned territory
Expand existing business, while maintaining current client base satisfaction
Use customer insights to develop targeted sales strategies and tailor responses to address specific customer requirements
Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by leadership
Responsible for accurate and timely CRM/forecast updates
Engage in effective negotiations with customers and finalize sales
Communicate and strategize with internal customers
Lead the sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals
Supervise the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to connect with key decision makers and consistently be on-site with customers developing relationships more than 60% of the time
Travel up to 80% of the time
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to relay sophisticated ideas clearly and concisely, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and interactions at all customer levels
Consistent performance in delivering high-quality presentations that resonate with audiences and produce results
High level of self-motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity, while demonstrating a sense of urgency
Proven track record of implementing strong strategy plans, and to bringing tasks to completion
Track record of optimally balancing opposing priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Skilled in navigating cross-functional teams and projects, being responsible for sales activity, developing sales plans, understanding local market and competitive trends
Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and changing needs of the business
Strong skills within the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Salesforce knowledge a plus
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle
Ability to travel up to 80% within assigned territory (may include weekends)
High School diploma required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of sales experience (Medical device or healthcare sales preferred)
Capital sales experience in a sophisticated decision-making environment a plus
This is a field based role that requires residence within a 40-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA
