This field-based role focuses on driving revenue growth and expanding market share within Malaysia's industrial rubber and polymer sectors. Reporting directly to top management, you will play a critical strategic role in securing high-value business accounts while being mentored by senior commercial leaders.
Job Responsibility
Conduct daily field visits to clients across Malaysia to identify and secure new business leads
Cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing industrial accounts
Execute strategic sales activities to ensure continuous and sustainable business growth
Analyze complex client requirements and propose tailored specialty chemical solutions
Monitor market trends and competitor movements within the industrial oil and rubber sectors
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of proven sales or technical experience, specifically within the rubber process oils, specialty chemicals, or related industrial sectors
Strong network and understanding of target industries like rubber compounds, plastics, resins, or lubricants (excluding glove manufacturing)
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a commercial, business, marketing, or technical engineering discipline
High level of initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a field-based role
Strong relationship-building, communication, and contract negotiation skills
