Job Description:

The Account Executive – Key Accounts (Dental & Vision) at Aetna is responsible for both retaining and expanding relationships with high-profile dental and vision clients, blending strategic account management with a growth mindset.

Job Responsibility:

retain and strengthen relationships with key middle market account dental and vision clients
identify dental and/or vision benefits cross-sell opportunities
develop and execute strategic account plans
serve as a trusted advisor providing market insights
analyze utilization and performance data
coordinate renewals, RFP responses, and stewardship presentations
build and maintain productive partnerships with internal teams and external partners
communicate client retention status, risks, and opportunities
stay current on industry trends

Requirements:

3-5 years Health Insurance industry experience
Health & Life Licensure as required by state
demonstrated examples of owning/managing complex customer relationships
sales administration, support, reporting
must be able to travel 10-30%

Nice to have:

account management experience in healthcare
experience with dental and vision products, including industry regulations and trends
demonstrated success in client retention and growth
familiarity with financial modeling, pricing strategies, and utilization analysis
experience preparing and delivering client presentations, business reviews, and RFP responses
track record of effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
