Job Description:

The Specialized Analytics Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility, operational/service leadership, and direction to teams. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, develops new techniques and models, and ensures motivation and development through professional leadership. Incumbents will work with data to improve and measure business outcomes while ensuring compliance and ethical standards.

Job Responsibility:

work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis
may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques
referred to as Data Scientists
specialization in marketing, risk, digital and AML fields possible
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for firm's reputation and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain standards

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience
ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences required
problem solving, root cause analysis skills required
ability to focus on multiple priorities and drive solutions in a fast paced working environment
relevant work experience in data quality, data analytics, data management within the financial services industry required
outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
bachelors/university degree or equivalent experience
