Specialist Teaching Assistant

• Providing tailored support to students with diverse SEN, including but not limited to autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, and communication difficulties
• Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture

• Significant experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to our location and the need for potential off-site activities
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people with SEN
• Be patient, resilient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be proactive, resourceful, and committed to continuous professional development

Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable
