This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils working below age-related expectations through a bespoke curriculum and sensory-based approach. The role will involve working closely with teachers to adapt learning, prepare resources and implement individual learning plans, including sensory diets, to meet pupils’ specific needs.

Job Responsibility

  • To provide targeted support for pupils with additional or complex needs, applying practical experience, knowledge, and strategies in areas such as EAL, behaviour, and SEN to meet individual learning requirements
  • To plan, resource, deliver and monitor progress for pupils’ programmes within the classroom or as part of a separate strategy

Requirements

  • GCSEs or equivalent
  • Experience in the successfully support of pupils with needs
  • Experience of being a TA
