Job Description:

We have the opportunity for a Specialist Teacher to join our Northwich team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Specialist Teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering inclusive lessons for individual and small groups of students. Responsibilities also include assessing and monitoring pupil progress and planning next steps for our children on the SEND register.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children across all key stages
  • Experience working with children with severe and moderate learning difficulties
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • A degree or similar qualifications
  • Comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources

  • Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 – KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to the young person’s needs, EHCP, and risk assessment
  • Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
