Job Responsibility

  • Crisis Management: Confidently de-escalating heightened behaviours using proven techniques (PMVA)
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Understanding the 'why' behind behaviours to build trust and security
  • Holistic Support: Managing appointments, family contact, and structured daily activities
  • Clinical Reporting: Delivering high-quality incident reports and insights that shape future care plans

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of paid UK experience in a residential or crisis setting
  • Proven ability to de-escalate aggression, self-harm, or destructive behaviours with a calm, non-judgemental approach
  • A firm grasp of professional boundaries and 'safe touch' protocols
  • PMVA Training is highly desirable (though we can provide training for the right candidates)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
  • Full UK Driving Licence with Business Insurance (Highly Preferred)
