This is an opportunity to lead a newly developed complex dementia service, supported by an ambitious senior leadership team and a provider known for investing in high-quality environments, innovation and progressive care models. The role requires a strong, visible leader with experience in complex dementia or specialised behavioural care and the confidence to build, shape and drive a service from launch through to full occupancy.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop a dedicated care team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care
Foster a positive and stable culture built on dignity, respect and best practice
Be a hands-on, visible leader who inspires, coaches and guides staff
Drive the growth and reputation of the service within the local area
Develop strong working relationships with families, professionals and external partners
Manage staffing, budgets and operational performance
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards
Embed a service model that meets the needs of individuals with complex dementia and behavioural needs
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of dementia care, complex behaviours and specialist support
Experience as a Home Manager or senior leader within a complex care service
A nursing qualification (desirable but not essential)
Proven ability to lead teams, improve culture and deliver high-quality care
Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with local authorities and professionals
A resilient, innovative approach with the drive to deliver growth and results
A commitment to high standards, continuous improvement and person-centred practice
