Compass Associates are proud to be supporting a well-established and forward-thinking care provider in their recruitment of a Specialist Service Manager for a new specialist dementia service within one of their homes in the Larkhall area. This is an opportunity to lead a newly developed complex dementia service, supported by an ambitious senior leadership team and a provider known for investing in high-quality environments, innovation and progressive care models. The role requires a strong, visible leader with experience in complex dementia or specialised behavioural care and the confidence to build, shape and drive a service from launch through to full occupancy.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of dementia care, complex behaviours and specialist support
  • Experience as a Home Manager or senior leader within a complex care service
  • A nursing qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve culture and deliver high-quality care
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with local authorities and professionals
  • A resilient, innovative approach with the drive to deliver growth and results
  • A commitment to high standards, continuous improvement and person-centred practice
