Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant | SEN Focus | Knowsley. Are you a compassionate and skilled professional dedicated to Special Educational Needs (SEN) support? A highly regarded SEN school in Knowsley is looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a secure, full-time, long-term position where you will provide vital, tailored support to students requiring focused attention.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions to pupils across the primary phase with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) or identified SEN
  • Adapt learning materials and environments to ensure accessibility and inclusion for every student, promoting their independence
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to meticulously track student progress and contribute to review meetings and goal setting
