Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and Deliver: Create and teach compelling lessons, using advanced differentiation techniques
  • Use both formal and ongoing methods to assess student learning and analyse performance data
  • Expertly adjust learning materials for full student accessibility
  • Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven, successful experience teaching a range of SEN within the UK school system
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEN policy, intervention strategies, and best practice
  • Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership
  • Must hold a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to obtain one immediately

Nice to have:

Relevant specialist SEN training or significant background supporting students with profound learning challenges
