Job Description:

Specialist, Safety Engineering role at Pandora's jewellery crafting facility in Vietnam. The role involves overseeing safety, health, and environment (SHE) programs to ensure employee health and safety and ensuring consistency of safety engineering activities at local production plants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee PPT SHE related-programs to ensure health and safety of all employees
  • Ensure consistency of safety engineering activities at local production plants
  • Support Safety KPIs aligning with 5 years SHE strategy including 3 years SHE improvement plan in accordance with Global C&S strategy, and Together Towards Zero roadmap
  • Develop Safety Program and Activity Safety Comply with Safety KPIs and Safety Policy
  • Advise and review the safety permit and Safety procedure
  • Examine and advise PPE Matix ,test new PPE and Setting Safety Work Instructions
  • Coordinate with supervisor/manager of each department and analyze for reduce high Risk Activities
  • Coordinate with Production academy to embed SHE into master trainers and Production courses
  • Ensure consistency of SHE policy implementation and adherence to roadmap
  • Ensure Risk assemssnent training and develop risk assement for all processes and activities and annual review
  • Follow up and ensure futher actions from risk assessent complete on time
  • Ensure compliance to Safety Standard and enforce action to local
  • Ensure workplace condition measurement report ontime and corrective action for non-compliant points
  • Develop Safety Orientation training and refresh training as Pandora standard
  • Delelop traning matrix for safety as per role and title and activties basing on risk assessmemt
  • Design SHE training and SHE communication materials related to Safety
  • Ensure Safety training as per legal requirements in place
  • Regular Safety report as per Law (haft year, yearly)
  • Plan, training and Practice Emergency response related to Safety (Fire drill, Radiation ...)
  • Monitoring, update and action plan for comply to new legal requirements related to Safety
  • Develop and control of contractor managerment
  • Plan and coordinate with other deparmtents and functions for interal and external safety audit
  • Supplier and Vendor audits related Safety
  • Ensure tany changes related to Safety under Management of Change procedure
  • Update and preapare PPV’s safety report on time
  • Plan and establish Annual Healh check and occupational health diease and health reports when head ccount Health and Industrial Hygienne not in place
  • Monitor Inhouse contractor of nurse and first aid activities when head ccount Health and Industrial Hygienne not in place
  • Plan and develop Safety Compaign and Communication
  • Follow up Tracking pervention and Action from the past Accident and SHE Suggestion
  • Promote, support and follow-up working performance on occupational safety to comply with the work plan of the project in order to have suitable safety measures for the workplace
  • Consultant of Safety Officer to understand work instruction and safety regulations
  • Execute Safety inspection and Internal Audit
  • Provide external Safety audit
  • Participate and advise analyze for lost time accident, medical treatment and fire incident investigations
  • Advise and review for Safety new project or new machine, new tooling and new activity for alignment with SHE Local

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields Certificate of Occupational Health and Safety
  • At least 4-years Health and Safety field experience
  • ISO45001 and ISO14001 Internal auditor certificate
  • Knowledge of Safety and Occupational health Laws and Safety Standards
  • The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities
  • Knowledge of Safety Awareness Activities and SHE Sugguestion
  • Knowledge of SHE Management of change ( MOC )
  • Knowledge of Investigation and preventive action
