Job Description:

We are actively recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers for our specialist team in Central London. This is a challenging role designed for resilient individuals who can support children and young people in crisis. Your expertise in managing complex situations and de-escalating heightened behaviours will be essential in providing a safe and stable environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing outstanding daily care and support to children within the residential setting
  • Confidently managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours to keep young people safe
  • Making decisive, appropriate decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Maintaining precise, detailed daily records and incident reports
  • Building trust and rapport with young people through creative engagement

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' paid experience in a residential children's home within the last 3 years
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A valid overseas police certificate if you have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years
