Job Description:

The Specialist Physician should follow up on his/her specialty as regards inpatients, OPD (outpatient clinic), ER (Emergency room) patients & OR (Operation room) cases 24/7.

Job Responsibility:

  • Diagnose, treat, or provide continuous care to hospital inpatients
  • Prescribe medications or treatment regimens to hospital inpatients
  • Admit patients for hospital stays
  • Conduct discharge planning and discharge patients in cooperation with the senior registrar and after approval of the relevant consultant
  • Order or interpret the results of tests such as laboratory tests and radiographs (x-rays)
  • Communicate with patients' consultant physicians upon admission, when treatment plans change, or at discharge to maintain continuity and quality of care
  • Conducts regular ward rounds to formulate a Patient Care plan
  • Abides by Departmental Policies and Procedures, as well as hospital by-laws, Rules, and Regulations
  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on his/her patients within the range of the specialty

Requirements:

Master Degree plus 2 years professional experience after Master
