Specialist One-to-One Study Skills Tutor (SS-SpLD)

• Develop independence and build on their learning strengths
• Create essential strategies for organisation and time management
• Formulate action plans to successfully stay on track with studies
• Build on crucial research skills, including widening knowledge, distinguishing appropriate sources, and correctly using references
• Enhance reading and writing comprehension skills

An Undergraduate Degree (Level 6 minimum) along with a Professional Membership from the list of accepted memberships provided by DfE

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths whilst maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
• Punctuality and reliability
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of students

• £31.38 pay per hour (includes holiday pay)
